WHO ARE WE?
Rainbow Sunrise Mapambazuko (RSM) is a not-for-profit organisation that was created to contribute to efforts to promote human rights and support (moral and health) of LGBTQ + sexual minorities in the Deomcratic Republic of Congo.
We formed in October 2010 in Bukavu in a social context punctuated by violence, discrimination and disregard for the human rights of LGBQ + I people in the region. We empower the LGBTQI+ community in this area to know their rights and how to claim them.
The HIV / AIDS pandemic which is ravaging our country constitutes to be a danger which we must face day by day by adopting appropriate strategies in collaboration with the other partners.
The COVID-19 pandemic has impacted very negatively on our community. We have launched a GoFundMe to help with this, find out more above.
